The tool removes file metadata. It cannot erase visible watermarks, hidden signals baked into pixels, or labels already applied by another platform.
The cleaner is designed around data minimization. You do not create an account, provide a name, or send an image to an application server. When you select a file, standard browser APIs read it on the device. The preview is created from a temporary local object URL, and canvas performs the visual rebuild in memory. The page content security policy also blocks outbound connection requests, reinforcing the local-only design of the image workflow.
The cleaner does not keep a daily usage counter in browser local storage. There is no account system, subscription record, image allowance, or server-enforced quota attached to the cleaning workflow. You can process as many supported images as your browser and device can comfortably handle. Because each image is processed locally and one at a time, performance depends on the available memory and processing power of your device rather than a remote service allowance. Closing the tab clears the active session from the interface.
While processing is active, the browser holds the original file, decoded image, canvas, and clean result in memory. The app creates object URLs so the selected and cleaned images can appear in the page without being uploaded. When you clean another file or leave the page, those URLs are revoked. Browser memory management ultimately controls when every internal allocation is reclaimed, so closing the tab is the simplest way to end the local session completely.
The new JPEG is built from visible pixels rather than the original file container. Common camera fields, timestamps, coordinates, creator notes, editor history, prompts, seeds, model identifiers, PNG text chunks, and provenance manifests are not intentionally copied into the output. However, new JPEG encoding still creates a valid technical container, and future formats or vendor-specific records may require new handling. Keep the source private and verify important outputs when your risk level is high.

Visible faces, documents, landmarks, watermarks, and screen text remain part of the picture. Downloaded output stays under your control, and any later upload follows the destination service’s policies.
